2. Inspection Process Overview

2.1 Raw Material & Component Inspection

Steel plates, welding rods, pipe fittings must have material certificates.

Valves, pumps, meters, and electrical units must be compliant with explosion-proof or pressure standards.

Chassis must be supplied by authorized OEMs with valid VINs and homologation documents.

2.2 Fabrication Stage Inspection

Weld Seam Testing: Radiographic or Ultrasonic NDT required for tanks.

Hydrostatic & Pneumatic Testing: 1.5x working pressure for liquid-tightness.

Paint Coating Quality: Corrosion protection must meet C5 or marine-grade standard.

Dimensional Accuracy: Tank diameter, axial alignment, flange fitting.

2.3 Structural & Safety Performance

Drop test and collision resistance testing (for tank vehicles).

Torsion and strength testing for sub-frames and bodies.

Functional testing for braking, steering, lighting, and power systems.

Anti-static and grounding resistance tests (especially for LPG and oil tankers).

2.4 Installation & System Test

Pipeline: Weld integrity, proper routing, and fastening.

Instrumentation: Calibration of pressure gauges, thermometers, level indicators.

Safety Valves: Pressure setting and reset accuracy.

Hydraulic/Pneumatic: Operational stability, no abnormal noise or leakage.

2.5 Road & Load Testing

Road Test: 30–50 km driving for acceleration, braking, cornering.

Axle Load Distribution: In accordance with road transport regulations.

Suspension performance and noise level control.

2.6 Documentation & Certification
